Neurodivergent Adults of OKC
The gang learns pottery!
Join us in September as we visit Strange Earth Studio to learn pottery and make our very own mugs! (Projects will be picked up at a later date upon completetion and a pick up date/time will be set).
Due to the size of the studio and scope of the project, this event is taking place on Saturday the 5th & Sunday the 6th in two groups of 10.
Please select which date you would like to participate when registering. Register HERE.
If you feel you're alone, you're not! We're here to greet you with open arms, as you are, because who you are is valid and deserves confirmation.
This social is facilitated by an autistic person and is peer-led for autistic/neurodivergent/disabled adults only, so we can have a space that is ours, have autonomy, and unmask. If you are a parent, we encourage you to drop off and pick up so we can keep the space for autistic/neurodivergent/disabled adults. Caregivers are encouraged to drop off and take respite for themselves during events.
Socialization is good for your mental health and promotes wellness in numerous ways. Those with neurodivergence have a high risk of suicidality, and our socials aim to prevent that by providing a safe place where people can be themselves, make real connections, and feel seen.
