An increasing number of businesses are hiring people with disabilities, accessing a skilled labor pool, and reaping the benefits of competitive integrated employment.

However, some employers may hesitate due to uncertainty or common misconceptions about the process.

In partnership with Plan Your Way OK, Autism Foundation of Oklahoma presents Partners in Success - a free workshop designed to build valuable partnerships between businesses, schools, nonprofits, and state agencies. This training provides useful information on employee management and the significant benefits of offering workplace tours, job shadowing, training, or employment opportunities to students with disabilities who are transitioning into the workforce.

The interactive workshop:

  • Reviews monetary and tax incentives

  • Provides helpful resources

  • Explores partnership options

  • Dispels common misconceptions about disabilities

  • Covers relevant laws and workplace accommodations

  • Provides a business case exercise to determine specific benefits of partnering

Program features:

  • The 90-minute training program is available in-person or virtually.

  • Content is presented in one sitting or in segments to meet business needs.

There is no obligation. Discover how competitive integrated employment can benefit your organization and your community!
